Fatea Showcase Sessions are exclusively available for a three month period after which they will never be available again. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are zip files containing high quality, 256kbs, drm free, mp3s.

"Explore" is dedicated to all acts from solo artists, through duos to bands. Each act has their own style and we hope you'll appreciate each of their efforts. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed so not all of the acts come from the same genre. "Explore" is available from May 1st to July 31st.

Trad folk infused with the energy and excitement of early 70s progressive rock. "Joshua Burnell is fast becoming one of the rising young voices on the British folk scene ... defnitely a young artist worth watching." - Morning Star

Greenshine is a family trio comprising Noel Shine, Mary Greene and their daughter Ellie. Their material straddles the boundaries of contemporary, folk and roots and includes many self-penned songs. Their fast picking and close harmonies are a treat to the ear.

The Jamestown Brothers are an 8-piece band from Somerset. We play original songs influenced by folk, country and blues, with lyrics that mine the rich history and social tapestry of Great Britain and Ireland. the band creates a full sound with intricate instrumental interplay.

Nick Cope was the singer and songwriter with The Candyskins in the 1990s.He now writes and performs music for children and their families and has established a fanatical army of little people and their parents from all over the world. This is a track of his 6th Album and features the vocals and Viola of the amazing Jackie Oates . Nick performs all over the UK at theatres and art centres and at many of the established art, music and literary festivals.

Joe's first foray into the studio with Folkstock, aged 60, yielded a stunning rendition of Can't Help Falling in Love, raising £500 for charity. Enthusiasm for his rich, engaging tones created demand for this follow up, out 3rd May.

Based in York UK, Rachel Croft is an independent musician and songwriter, combining rich, complex vocals over rhythmic fingerpicked guitar. Her songs are often inspired by Celtic melodies and the thoughtful lyrics of the likes of Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny and Matt Corby, which narrate her experiences living in this historic city.

Faith and Callum both write, play and sing and after playing with various college bands took the decision to step out as a duo with Faith generally taking the lead vocals and Callum adding harmonies and playing the lead guitar parts.

The choir pride themselves on having high musical standards and excellent vocal technique, performing textured and often complex arrangements in up to eight part harmony. At the heart of what the choir creates musically is an incredibly strong sense of companionship which is what gives the choir the perfect combination of community and musicianship.

Kelly Stanley & Company combines the honest soul-searching writing and passionate vocal styling's of Kelly Stanley, with a skilled company of players. A true fusion of artistry and emotion, Kelly Stanley & Company are a very special act indeed.

Eight piece Americana/Country/punk outfit. Think CSNY meets The Band and has a fight with The Libertines. Up for any shows anywhere including guerrilla gigging in people's front rooms. Critically acclaimed and garnering great radio support.

Lizzy Hardingham plays a vibrant mix of traditional, original and contemporary music. She is a gifted songwriter with "a powerful voice to watch out for", and is fast becoming "a rising star on the folk scene destined for great things!"

The NonStick Pans are a fictional four-piece band and the solo moniker of actor/singer-songwriter, Peter Rugman. The music is heavily inspired by the 1960s; combining the shimmering California-rich harmonies of The Beach Boys with the northern sensibilities of The Beatles.

Bristol dreamscape pioneers Alesund released their debut EP Shift & Flux on 15th Feb 2019. Produced by Jake Bright, Shift & Flux is a collection of beautifully crafted songs with a sparse Nordic undercurrent. Immersive sound, rolling drums, intricate guitar work and soaring vocals. Alesund are an atmosheric force that create expansive, emotive and exhilerating sound worlds.

The Jake Leg Jug Band bring you the authentic sounds of 1920's and 30's America - Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Ragtime - and put their own twist on it. Songs of murder, betrayal, gambling, liquor and redemption.

Linda Em produces music in an extraordinary mix of influences and genres, blending folk (revisited from a current London / Irish cultural perspective), a bit of rock, Celtic melody and American blues. Her music is timeless, filtering new compositions through the prism of her musical heritage to produce an overall modern day eclectic feel.

Chris is a singer/songwriter from Morayshire North East Scotland who has been writing and performing live from a young age. Possessing an earthy, raspy and soulful vocal that instantly captures the listener's attention then it comes as no surprise that many of Chris's musical peers, fans and professional admirers often highlight the vocal similarities with the likes of Joe Cocker
