Fatea Showcase Sessions are exclusively available for a three month period after which they will never be available again. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are zip files containing high quality, 256kbs, drm free, mp3s.

"Serpent" is dedicated to all acts from solo artists, through duos to bands. Each act has their own style and we hope you'll appreciate each of their efforts. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed so not all of the acts come from the same genre. "Serpent" is available from February 1st to April 30th.

Mondegreen are an indie-folk trio based in Liverpool and Chester. Described as "folk-tinged indie pop" with big harmonies, the band includes sisters Laura and Leanne Griffiths, and Claire Smith.

Gloucester based singer-songwriter Madeleine Harwood is a firm believer in the art of unaccompanied singing. Drawing upon personal experience, she recently penned and released her debut album, "Darkest Part" a dynamic exploration of the human condition.

Bird in the Belly: A new collective consisting of alt-folk musician Jinnwoo, traditional duo Hickory Signals, multi-instrumentalist Tom Pryor, and visual artist Epha Roe. Using forgotten or little known traditional lyrics in hopes of reintroducing them into the folk canon.

Susie Jones is a writer at her most exposed and honest and singer whose elegant and distinctive voice touches the soul of the listener. Her recent songs have seen her moving towards heavier, lush and full textured sound support great melody and narrative.

Red Velvet is singer Deirdre Murphy, songwriter Les Ray and their band of talented multi-instrumentalists from very diverse musical backgrounds. The ska sounding Stranger Welcome, is an anti-racist song for these xenophobic times from their Heartland Soul album.

2017 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award Winners Josie Duncan and Pablo Lafuente are a vocal/guitar duo like no other. Calling the Isle of Lewis and Glasgow/Spain home, it's no wonder their music doesn't focus on one place or on one strand of Scotland's web of traditions.

If you could imagine the love child of Bill Bailey and Victoria Wood that would be Polly Morris. Observational comedy songs that you can instantly identify with alongside more thoughtful acoustic numbers that are reminiscent of Karen Carpenter.

Ben Morgan-Brown writes intimate songs featuring open-tuned guitar, ethereal vocals & obliquely personal lyrics that tip the hat to Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, etc whilst maintaining a unique musical style & identity. New EP 'Cold Rooms' available now.

Ali is a singer-songwriter based in West Yorkshire. She performs with acoustic guitar as a solo artist and often as part of a duo with Jane Muller who adds djembe, percussion and harmonies. She writes about ordinary people that do extraordinary things.

Elie Rees is a singer/songwriter who has created her own acoustic niche with edgy and emotive songs. A punk-rock side to Elie's writing combines with catchy melodies and bold lyrics to create a singer songwriter with attitude.

Darwin's Daughter, aka Fiona Ruth, lives in Ireland and regularly travels to Scotland, and England seeking inspiration and collaboration for new songs. She is passionate about her lyrics, drawing heavily from personal experience.
