The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed to provide greater exposure to artists that have impressed the Fatea team. Some are already signed, others are carving a solo trail, releasing songs on their own labels, all are dedicated to their music

Fatea Showcase Sessions are exclusively available for a three month period after which they will never be available again. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are zip files containing high quality, 256kbs, drm free, mp3s.

The writers/performers have put money, time and effort into creating the songs on this compilation for your enjoyment. "Savour" is dedicated to all acts from solo artists, through duos to bands. Each act has their own style and we hope you'll appreciate each of their efforts. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed so not all of the acts come from the same genre. "Savour" is available from November 1st to January 31st

Brown Boots - Shooting
Brown Boots is Will Allen on melodeon and Martin Clarke on fiddle. Their musical background is rooted in playing music for dancing, as well as gaining inspiration from playing with their many talented musical friends at festivals and pub sessions across the country.

False Colours - The Road
Suffolk jangle folk duo 'False Colours' consist of David Owen and Polly Keyton- occasionally joined by studio collaborator Dom Mackie. Their inventive ear worm inducing songwriting sounds reminiscent of 1960's jangle pop, with characterful basslines, fresh folk melodies and lots of harmonies.

Susy Wall - Say You're Home
Having spent her first 18 years growing up in a small town on the edge of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales, Susy has always been in love with melody and song. This underpins both her writing and performing and is a fundamental part of who she is as an artist. Susy's songs are influenced by both classical and contemporary themes which translate into melodic, honest songs that tell the ordinary story.

Gavin Marwick & Ruth Morris - Lammastide/Hats and Ribbons
Gavin Marwick (fiddle) and Ruth Morris (nyckelharpa) have long enjoyed playing pan-European and original music together with bands including Bellevue Rendezvous, Journeyman and, currently, Firelight Trio. Lammastide is from 'Lammas' (one of Gav's 'Quarterdays' EP series) - their first duo recording.
