The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed to provide greater exposure to artists that have impressed the Fatea team. Some are already signed, others are carving a solo trail, releasing songs on their own labels, all are dedicated to their music

Fatea Showcase Sessions are exclusively available for a three month period after which they will never be available again. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are zip files containing high quality, 256kbs, drm free, mp3s.

"Lion" is dedicated to all acts from solo artists, through duos to bands. Each act has their own style and we hope you'll appreciate each of their efforts. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed so not all of the acts come from the same genre. "Lion" is available from August 1st to October 31st.

Owen Ralph - The False Young Man

Compared to the likes of Bellowhead and Eliza Carthy, multi-instrumentalist and composer Owen Ralph recruits a 10 piece ensemble for his innovative new project "Chamber Folk", combining them with electronica to create new interpretations of traditional songs.

Odette Michell - After The Hurricane/b>

Inspired by the resurgence of folk and acoustic songwriters, Odette began writing her own songs when just sixteen. She released a new EP "By Way Of Night" earlier this year and continues to add to her live reputation both at venues and festivals.

Molly-Anne - Bright Eyes

Molly-Anne is a young and upcoming country musician from England whose style is already getting her noticed further afield, including Nashville. Her debut EP, "Glow" was quickly followed by a second, "Songs Of The South" to wide acclaim.

The Equatorial Group - Lights Shine

The Equatorial Group are five friends from Eastbourne. Their music has been described in many ways; ramshackle folk-rock, space country, languid Americana.... but most importantly it's honest and heartfelt, and shares their love of countrified sonic landscapes.

Comfort Creature - Numbers

Comfort Creature, the tantalising musical vehicle of Icelandic-born Auöur Zoëga, walks the sublime line between the pleasure/pain of waiting, of not knowing, and the cathartic and spiritual release of losing oneself to the flesh, Auöur's smoky alto achingly vulnerable.

Trevor 'Babajack' Steger - River Song

Trevor lives on his narrow boat, stepping out on his own to perform his own brand of Blues, drawing from his love of early rural blues, punk and world music. Using slide guitar, harp and stomp box to create his unique sound which is both exciting and real.

Fine Lines - Forget About You

Centred around the core duo of David Boardman and Zoe Blythe and an accompanied cast of players, Fine Lines have been performing together since 2016. A collection of stripped back, mature songs that bare the soul have seen them, gaining quite the reputation.

Ben Robertson - Warlock

Ben Robertson is a young fingerstyle guitarist and singer who plays a range of folk instrumentals and songs from across the British Isles and Europe. His mini album, "North" has seen him picking up attention as well as a few festivals, keep you eye on Ben.

Matthew Byrne - Adelaide

Storytelling through song is a fundamental duty of traditional music and Newfoundland's Matthew Byrne does this brilliantly with his latest recording, Horizon Lines. His newest offering explores a unique repertoire of traditional songs from both sides of the Atlantic.

Sophia Marshall - Bye Bye

Sophia Marshall is an indie folk, Americana singer songwriter. Formerly one half of The Havenots, Sophia launched her solo career in 2014 and her solo debut in 2017. 2018 has seen Sophia record a series of Eps exploring a variety of different artists work.

Daniel Kemish - Hold On Tight

Daniel Kemish is a British Born Americana/Folk Singer and one of those artists whose voice cuts straight to the core. His songs and stage presence command the attention of the audience, be it an intimate solo performance or full band setup.

Niall Moran - Lost Chord

Niall Moran is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Co. Mayo in the west of Ireland. He draws on American roots, folk and country influences while writing songs firmly rooted in Ireland and his adopted home town of London.

Anne-Marie Sanderson - Holloway

Anne-Marie Sanderson's distinctive indie-folk music is characterised by her unique vocals and innovative guitar playing. Her third EP, "Book Songs Vol. 1" is a collection of songs inspired by literature, with a release marked by a three-month tour of the UK and Europe.

Sail Pattern - Seven Years

Shaped by the landscapes and traditions of the UK, Sail Pattern blend rock and roots to produce uplifting songs. Serving their apprenticeship in the pubs of Calderdale, progressing to bigger stages where bold harmony vocals and musicianship earned them a strong live reputation.
