The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed to provide greater exposure to artists that have impressed the Fatea team. Some are already signed, others are carving a solo trail, releasing songs on their own labels, all are dedicated to their music

Fatea Showcase Sessions are exclusively available for a three month period after which they will never be available again. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are zip files containing high quality, 256kbs, drm free, mp3s.

"Whilst the songs on The Fatea Showcase Sessions come to you, the listener at no charge, they are not free. The writers/performers have put money, time and effort into creating the songs on this compilation for your enjoyment. We hope that you take the time to visit the websites of the artists included here and consider purchasing their music. Fatea hopes that this compilation gives you a taste for folk and roots orientated music and that you will seek out the works of the artists included in this compilation and in the wider music community."

"Lion" is dedicated to all acts from solo artists, through duos to bands. Each act has their own style and we hope you'll appreciate each of their efforts. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed so not all of the acts come from the same genre. "Lion" is available from August 1st to October 31st.

Hannah Scott - Dust & Doubt
Hannah Scott draws much of her inspiration for her music with her affinity with Italy. She has found a musical home with creative partner Stefano Della which has resulted in the album "Pieces Of The Night."

Owen Ralph - The False Young Man
Compared to the likes of Bellowhead and Eliza Carthy, multi-instrumentalist and composer Owen Ralph recruits a 10 piece ensemble for his innovative new project "Chamber Folk", combining them with electronica to create new interpretations of traditional songs.

Odette Michell - After The Hurricane/b>
Inspired by the resurgence of folk and acoustic songwriters, Odette began writing her own songs when just sixteen. She released a new EP "By Way Of Night" earlier this year and continues to add to her live reputation both at venues and festivals.

Molly-Anne - Bright Eyes
Molly-Anne is a young and upcoming country musician from England whose style is already getting her noticed further afield, including Nashville. Her debut EP, "Glow" was quickly followed by a second, "Songs Of The South" to wide acclaim.

Trevor 'Babajack' Steger - River Song
Trevor lives on his narrow boat, stepping out on his own to perform his own brand of Blues, drawing from his love of early rural blues, punk and world music. Using slide guitar, harp and stomp box to create his unique sound which is both exciting and real.

Fine Lines - Forget About You
Centred around the core duo of David Boardman and Zoe Blythe and an accompanied cast of players, Fine Lines have been performing together since 2016. A collection of stripped back, mature songs that bare the soul have seen them, gaining quite the reputation.
